Apostille & Notary Support for Residents
Helping communities understand document requirements before paperwork becomes urgent.
Request Resident SupportMost residents know where to get something notarized. Apostille support is different.
A notarized document is not always ready for use outside the United States. Some documents may need apostille or authentication before another country, institution, agency, school, employer, or legal office will accept them.
The RTR Campaign™ was created to help close that awareness gap by connecting residents and community leaders with clear education, local notary support, and responsible next steps.

What Is the RTR Campaign™?
The RTR Campaign™ means Reach the Resident. It is a community outreach initiative from Elite Notary Signing designed to increase awareness of apostille services, mobile notary support, and document readiness resources for residents throughout Metro Atlanta.
Simple answer: RTR helps residents and community leaders understand when notarization may be needed, when apostille support may be needed, and when it is time to request professional help instead of guessing.

Common Resident Questions
Clear answers for residents, families, and community leaders who are trying to understand what kind of document support may be needed.
What is an apostille?
An apostille is a form of authentication used for certain public documents that need to be accepted in another country that participates in the Hague Apostille Convention.
Is notarization the same as apostille?
No. Notarization and apostille are different. A notarization may confirm a signature or notarial act. Apostille is a separate authentication process that may be required before a document is accepted outside the United States.
Can a birth certificate be notarized?
Generally, vital records such as birth certificates are not notarized by a notary. They are usually issued or certified by the appropriate government office. If the document is for international use, apostille or authentication may be needed.
Who handles Georgia apostilles?
In Georgia, apostille and authentication requests are handled through the Georgia Superior Court Clerks' Cooperative Authority, commonly known as GSCCCA.
Does Elite Notary Signing prepare legal documents?
No. Elite Notary Signing does not prepare legal documents, give legal advice, or determine whether a document is legally valid. We provide mobile notary support, apostille facilitation, and general document readiness education.
