Mobile Notary Appointments in Georgia: What to Expect and How to Prepare

Short answer: you bring the decisions; we help make them official. Here is how a mobile notary visit with Elite Notary Signing works.

At a Glance

  • Time: most visits take 15 to 30 minutes

  • ID: bring a valid, government-issued photo ID

  • Witnesses: arrange them in advance if required by your document

  • Location: home, office, hospital, café, or another safe public place

  • Before we leave: we review every page for accuracy

Step-by-Step: Your Appointment

  1. Schedule: we confirm document type, number of signers, and witness needs.

  2. Confirm: you receive the meet-up location and prep notes.

  3. Arrival: we show up on time with journal, stamp, and certificates.

  4. Verify: we check IDs and make the required journal entries.

  5. Witness and sign: you sign in our presence; we complete the notarial certificate.

  6. Quality check: we review names, dates, signatures, and notary wording together.

  7. Wrap-up: you leave with a complete document, ready for its next step.

What to Bring

  • Current government-issued photo ID
Georgia driver’s license or ID, U.S. passport, or other approved identification

  • The document you need notarized, unsigned until we direct you to sign

  • Witnesses if your document requires them, each with valid ID

  • Any special instructions from your attorney, school, or agency

  • Payment method agreed at booking

Witnesses 101

  • Witnesses must be adults, present, and not named in the document

  • Health care directives often require two witnesses; witnesses cannot be the notary

  • For wills and certain estate documents, ask your attorney for exact requirements

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Signing before the notary arrives

  • Expired or missing ID

  • Nicknames that do not match the ID

  • Missing pages or notary wording that does not fit the document type

  • Forgetting certified copies for vital records that need apostille later

How Long It Takes

Most appointments take 15 to 30 minutes. Extra time may be needed for multiple documents, additional signers, or travel within a facility.

Compassionate, Professional Service

We meet you where you are, treat your time with respect, and double-check details so you do not have to repeat the process. Preparation is power, and love in action looks like clear paperwork.
